  • Note: State-wise ranks are announced after excluding the top 100 ranks across the country. Every participant gets Digital Certificate and Student’s Performance Report (SPR).
  • Ranking: If more than one student gets similar top score, priority for awarding ranks will be as per the marks scored in the specified order of sections in the question paper. Let us suppose there is a tie in determining a rank because of the same marks, the time taken for completing the test is considered as the deciding factor for the rank. One who has taken less time for completing, gets the upper rank. 1,10,00,000+ students have taken the exams conducted by Unified Council till date.

Useful general information :

  • Aim : NSTSE is aimed at providing encouragement to the students to think critically, apply logical reasoning, and cultivate problem-solving skills in the academic fields of science and mathematics. It assists to identify and reward gifted students and provides them with a stage to exhibit their abilities.
  • Eligibility: Students from Class 2 to Class 12 qualify the eligibility criteria for participating in NSTSE. The exam is segregated into different levels based on class, and questions are formulated according to the respective class syllabus.
  • Exam Format: The exam is generally held in an objective multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. The number of questions and the time period for completion for each class level may differ, but generally, it comprises of questions related to Mathematics,, Chemistry, Physics,Biology, and General Knowledge

  • Subjects : The exam includes subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and General Knowledge, with changes in syllabus depending on the student's class.
  • Question Format: NSTSE comprises of multiple-choice questions, where students are made to select the correct answer from given options.
  • Exam Levels : The NSTSE test is split into two levels. Level 1 is extended to all students, however, Level 2 is only accessible to those who have completed the previous test.

Performance scorecard helps an individual to evaluate themselves through Facilitated self discovery (FSD), Notes Boards Faculty (NBF) and Concept maps and content (CMC). FSD is important as it helps the student to assess their performance, identify their strong and weak chapters . Its features are that the student gets subject-wise chapter test, multiple chapter test. NBF is beneficial as it allows student to attend classes at their own space , that is , they can avail online classes which helps them to understand the concept better and watch the videos whenever they have doubts. In NBF, live classes are conducted by expert faculties , where students get to take full course/crash course/top-up class. Last but not the least , aspect of Crestest is CMC. CMC is a pictorial representation of the chapter which is redirected to content so that the students can read specific topics in details.
