Performance weightage is an indicator of the scholastic efficiency of the students. It
comprises the scores from three different tests. 10% of the performance weightage comes
from the average marks scored in chapter tests, 20% from the average scored in module
tests, and 70% from the average scored in mock tests. Knowing how this is calculated
gives students an incentive to make sincere efforts in all three areas.
If the total resultant value is <70%, the indicator will fall in the red zone. If the
percentage is between 70%-80%, 80%-90% or>90%, the indicator will show up in yellow,
green or blue respectively.
Often students’ scores are seen to be inversely proportional to the volume of material
they are tested on. This means that their score usually progressively declines from the
chapter test through the module test to the mock test.
The strength analysis section uses graphs and statistical data analysis to compare these
varying performances in different permutations and combinations, which provides insights
into individual strengths, weaknesses and underlying causes.
This section reflects the students’ strengths and weaknesses with each subject. The percentage score of the student in a particular subject across chapter, module and mock tests is represented through bar and pie charts, which are linked to pop-ups with a detailed statistical analysis. This gives a clear review of the students’ performance with a clear projection of the number of attempted, not attempted, incorrect and correct responses.
This score is calculated on the basis of marks obtained across practice sets. This may
vary with the number of practice sets attempted. If the total resultant value is
<70%,
the indicator will fall in the red zone. If the percentage is between 70%-80%,
80%-90% or>90%, the indicator will show up in yellow, green or blue respectively.
The effort should always be to ensure that this score keeps improving from red
through yellow and green to blue.
A clear projection of the number of attempted, not attempted, incorrect and correct
responses will be displayed for each practice set.
This chart compares the average individual scores subject-wise in the Competitive space to the average general scores across the portal. The chart is a dynamic one, and keeps updating constantly. This allows students to situate themselves on the competitive ladder, understand their coordinates and correctly estimate the effort required to reach the next level.
This section shows each student a comparative assessment of the different practice sets they attempt in the Competitive space. The number of attempted, not attempted, incorrect and correct responses against each practice set is captured and clearly displayed. This section also offers a dynamic toggling function to highlight and colour code the performance in different chapters within each set, to help the students discover which chapters/areas need more attention from them in the next set.
